Long time wagon fan, first time road tripping in one. Triple black 2.7t, absolute mint condition besides a couple scratches on the hood when someone decided it would be a good idea to get off a foot of snow with a shovel. Hopefully it doesn’t break.

Kinja'd!!!

Update: It also has side and rear window shades.

Protip: Don't park anywhere that might impede access for a flatbed tow truck. :D

From NW Ohio to Bay City Michigan. Only about 3 hours. The major services have been done so I'm not super worried.

Window shades are really cool. Is the one on the back window motorized?

Yeah, I never thought much of them until now, I like them. It looks to have a pull strap like the sides so my guess is manual

Generally I wouldn’t even qualify three hours as a road trip anymore, but in that...

You have AAA right?

The 2.7t doesn’t have chain guides. That’s the 4.2.

Unfortunately. I think the plan would be to tackle the suspension maintenance, any engine maintenance, and a few small things like windows and some codes. Then I’d probably go with the classic RS4 turbo upgrade and collect parts for a manual swap until the trans goes bye-bye. Or just do the upgrade and swap at the same time.

Also, You own the green C4 S6 right? I lurk on a bunch of different Avant forums, I know I’ve seen it somewhere. I love it and am very jealous!

Yup, thats me. I used to have a B5 S4 avant. The C4 fills the void.

You dont say.....I think I still have swap parts, deff a rs4 clutch, pedal assembly for sure. Also a bunch of other 2.7 misc parts lol. Oh I have Labree split mouth down pipes with cats and test pipes made for the tip 2.7tt.

Hmmm, are you planning on getting rid of those anytime soon? If I ended up buying it, it would probably be sometime next year, but I’d be very serious about doing the swap. It works out well as I’m graduating next spring, so I will have a lot more money to throw it at it for a side project.

After I saw your posts on the forums I started looking into C4 S6's, but then I read how few were brought here and it made me give up on that. I’m incredibly jealous!

Yea Im not in a crazy rush. But this stuff isnt that expensive, just not readily available. Over the weekend I’ll inventory what I have, but I have a lot of 2.7 parts that I kept, even have a whole motor, but its not RTR, could use a rebuild.

Yea there arent many wagons out there, when they go up for sale people are usually asking 6-8, (even higher if its unmolested). Glad I got mine for as cheap as I did (4500), havent even seen a sedan in as good as condition sell for so little. But trust me if you ever get the chance... do it, they are blast to drive, pretty bullet proof, also no traction control, AND its drive by wire. (drops mic)
